After studying English literature and History at university I wanted the opportunity to discover cultures and people outside of Britain and so decided to train to be a teacher of English as a foreign language. My first post was in a language school in Skopje, northern Macedonia and I continued after that to work in London and then Narbonne, in France, in a variety of situations, from one to one private tuition, to professional training companies, to primary school classrooms. I've now been teaching for over 25 years and continue to love meeting, communicating with and enabling all ages and types of people to improve their English language skills. I like being as mentally and physcially active as possible! When I'm not talking and listening to my language students I'm swimming, running or reading literature and enjoying the company and conversation of close friends and family. I want you to benefit from my broad experience, which has given me the ability to understand and be responsive to the specific needs of the individual person I'm working with. I believe I can provide you with exactly the help and practice you need to overcome any comprehension and expression difficulties and develop your overall abilities.
